We are searching for a Python developer specifically with Django experience
for a 2 - 3 month contract to hire position with a great company in Seattle.

Position: Python Developer
Responsibilities:
· Work with a cross-functional team in a agile software development
environment
· Deliver high-quality software on a frequent basis
· Interact with project stakeholders to develop and refine requirements
· Collaborate with other software professionals to design and implement
software applications
· Reverse engineer and re-factor existing code for performance, scalability
, and maintainability
· Act as team mentor in advanced techniques and positive team behavior
· Solid ability to inspire team productivity in a positive and supportive
manner
Requirements:
· Experience as a full stack developer
· BS with MS preferred, in CS, Information Technology or other scientific/
linguistic fields or equivalent development experience
· 3+ years experience with Dynamic Languages (Ruby, Python, Javascript, PHP
) – and willingness to work in a variety of languages
· Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application domains
· Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
· Ability to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex problems
· Enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with talented
professionals
· Ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly growing software organization
· Excellent technical communication skills
· Creative, positive outlook in facing hard problems and short time frames
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Django is a bonus
· Experience with agile software development methodology.
· Experience with HTML and CSS
· Experience with database interactions and the ability to write database
queries in SQL
· Experience with team building and supportive mentoring
