page so you have to google it yourself)
You can transfer some money to an account with unlimited FDIC insurance for
qualified accounts. Chase offers such account. The procedure is pretty
simple as well with a change of product code.
Unfortunately, BOA does not have such account per my discussion with bankers
. What you can do is to open an ISA (Insured Saving Account). It is
essentially deposit your money into upto 30 affiliated banks each has $250k
upper limit FDIC insurance (and $500k for joint). I have some PDF from BOA
so if you interested, contact me and I can send you a copy. |
