with invited speakers Mr. Omar Lee (CEO of Great Wall Development Inc) and
Dr. Kerry Kou (CEO of MagHope Corp)
Do you want to be successful in your professional jobs or businesses? If
your answer is yes, you must come to this exciting event organized by
Northwest Chinese Professionals Association (NWCHP) and learn from these two
successful business leaders! Both of them started out their career as a
professional like most of our members.
If you buy Chinese grocery from Ranch 99 in the famous Great Wall Shopping
Mall, you already have connections with Omar as he owns the popular shopping
center transformed from a warehouse. You may be surprised to learn that
Omar was initially an HP computer engineer and manager like many of our
members. He had then re-invented himself and expanded into many diverse
business areas such as real estate development, construction, banking,
restaurants, entertainment and financial investments. He will share his
intriguing background and success stories with us.
Our second speaker, Dr. Kerry Kou, also has an interesting background. He
was initially an established scientist and scholar in metallic material
science. He then transformed himself into a successful business executive
in manufacturing, operation, marketing and sales. He worked in 3 continents
management. He will enlighten us with his diverse background, success
stories and lessons learned.

Speakers’ Bios:
Omar Lee:
Omar Lee first got his BA in Computer Science at UC Berkeley. He then
recieved his MBA in Finance & Marketing at UCLA. He took additional real
estate and construction courses through University Extensions and
professional associations. Mr. Lee has worked as manager for Hewlett Packard
Company and Data General Company. He went on into real estate development
and management and also worked as a real estate broker and general building
contractor as well as real estate investment and contruction consultant.
Some of his projects include building and designing many apartment complexes
, estate homes and custom homes along the West Coast states. Mr. Lee one of
the founders of Pacifica Bank/United Commercial Bank, Pacific International
Bank, and Regal Financial Bank. He is also experienced as an entrepreneur in
restaurants and entertainments.
Mr. Lee serves as a member on the board of directors for Regal Financial
Bank, Waterfront Construction Co., and Scout Reach - Boyscout of America.
Through his work experiences, he has become affliates with companies such as
Great Wall Deleopment, Inc., Shamu Property Management Co., Commonwealth
Investment Co., and Techcraft Construction Co.

我大学本科是1980年在东北重型机械学院(现名燕山大学)金属材料专业. 硕士研究生是
在中国科学院金属研究所从事超导体研究并于1986年获得中科院硕士学位. 博士学位师
从奥地利维也纳技术大学的世界磁学权威学者. 于1991年12月毕业并获得奥地利技术科
学博士学位.
工作经历:
一九九一年博士毕业后, 先后在德国马普金属研究所, 维也纳技术大学, 荷兰阿姆斯
特丹大学, 德国西门子公司工作. 一九九八年来美国. 先在肯德基州的甘涡公司从事技
术和生产管理工作. 之后进入宾西法尼亚州的艺利磁铁公司从事市场开发和国际销售工
作.
新的开始:
2010年五月份全家搬到美丽的西雅图. 开始建立自己的公司. 主要业务有两部分: 一
是咨询服务, Expense Reduction Analyst (www.expensereduction.com). 另一部分是
销售和技术服务.
