Description:
Seeking experienced software engineer to:
- Lead development of Windows applications and drivers for a video game
console development environment.
- Coordinate and manage the integration of embedded software and hardware to
enable above.
- Accelerated path to management/leadership role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with hardware and software teams to develop Win7/WinXP host
drivers (and applications) to communicate with custom game development
hardware via USB vendor class and Windows socket layer.
- Help architect, implement, and test the Windows host software.
- Provide feedback to hardware design to optimize performance and usability
of the Windows host software.
- Create and execute on a staged release schedule of features so users can
start their development activities in parallel as soon as possible.
- Create detailed documents and an environment which will facilitate
maintenance and future development of the Windows host software.
Skills/ Experience:
- 5+ years Windows device driver programming
- Direct experience with USB device drivers.
- Direct experience with network protocols.
- Proficiency with debuggers, and USB+network protocol analyzers a plus.
- Experience with SDIO and SATA drivers also a plus.
- Proven track record of teamwork and effective communication a must. |
