也是top10的大学当教授的回忆。是四十年代末五十年代初的事情。从其描述中
看到，原来那时候美国的学生也是聪明的跑路早，剩下的底子薄，也很让其郁闷。
倒是五十年代末，他就又回到英国作了一个大实验室的斗，再往后就是Cambridge

以前在中国看读者上的文章，翻译比较早期的英美文章。
好像上面对academia的职业还是很尊重的，穷但是还是会被respect.
