应对媒体采访，每一句话都要说得中正无比。
让媒体截不出“错话”。 老中应该反复
练习怎样应对媒体采访。这个场合不同
平常，表情不能傻笑也不能微笑。
先强调：
I feel for the pain of the victim's family. It
was a tragic accident(mistake). （这里应该有
一个沉痛的停顿，表情不能傻笑）
再说： Peter Liang made a tragic mistake
but apparently he was not aware of anyone hit in the dark until

in a dangerous dark stairwell. NYPD or Housing
Authority should take responsibility for systemic
failures.

After a second look, only 1/2/4/5 make any sense, the rest are completely
counter productive. If you have the connection, pass it on, or discuss if
they need further explanation.
We are walking a very fine line here because the cop did make a mistake, the
worst of which is calling union rep before reporting the incident, while
the guy was dying/dead. He can't walk away free from that part regardless
of our emotion and the situation that he is being used as scapegoat. We can
only argue that he is not entirely responsible and doesn't deserve 5-15
years in jail. |
