Reports to: Manager Technology Risk Analytics and Reporting
Job Description
The Technology Risk Analytics and Reporting Specialist is responsible for
the life cycle of technology risk reporting, which includes requirements
gathering, risk data aggregation, data validation, dashboard design and
maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Risk Data Aggregation
• Identify sources of technology risk data and establish data feeds.
• Define business requirements for risk register (including data
quality and validation).
• Integrate and aggregate risk data in support of analysis and
reporting requirements.
Risk Analysis and Monitoring
• Monitor aggregated risk data to identify high-risk areas.
• Perform trend analysis and predictive monitoring of risk and
remediation.
• Perform statistical analysis of metrics and risk data.
Risk Reporting, Metrics and Dashboards
• Identify, document and analyze the reporting requirements of various
key stakeholders.
• Define technology risk metrics requirements, including key
indicators and thresholds.
• Generate and manage risk dashboards and reporting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a Technology related field of study
• 5-7 years of experience in an analytical business intelligence role
reporting IT or healthcare related issues, including demonstrated experience
in gathering reporting requirements, designing and implementing solutions
• Experience with enterprise business intelligence tools including SAS
, Business Object and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in statistical analysis
• 5 years working experience within the Information Technology/
Information Security field
• Demonstrable experience of designing and producing high quality
reports within a dynamic and demanding business environment
• Demonstrated experience in creating and working with security,
operational and financial measures. Experience with Key Risk Indicators (
KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), scorecards and dashboards
• Ability to synthesize complex data into user-friendly visual
presentations for use by Operations Management
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written at
different levels of the organization
• Clear track record of delivery and the ability to work to deadlines
and adapt to changing priorities
• Previous audit and / or operational risk experience
