and other radioactive materials released from the
faults under water.
On the other hand, the water near SF bay is known
to be not exactly pristine. There are too many
pollution sources near this area. Navy has a base
in SF. Fishermen I know claimed that they ran into
nuclear subs sometimes. In 60s, a nuclear sub sank
in SF bay. On the other hand, being so close to
Livermore doesnt help. In 90s, people found plutonium
particles in parks and waters that can be traced to
the Lab.
