发帖数: 633 | 1 上次发帖第一次问了一下买房问题。我在livermore,老公在santa cruz，无孩，短时间
里都无法搬家，但是想找个中间的地方住了好尽快生养小孩。考虑安全，价位和交通目
前我们的兴趣集中在以下三个区。
94539, warm spring
95035 及 95132 milpitas
然后我和lg的意见开始有了分歧。lg喜欢warm spring，他觉得居家一定要安全，他觉
得warm spring的安全性比milpitas好很多。还有warm spring离我上班(livermore)更
近。
我喜欢milpitas。因为我考察过交通，从warm spring到milpitas那段中间有个237公路
，如果住在warm spring的话，lg每天上下班都要堵个半死。warm spring靠近我，可是
我觉得每天lg浪费在交通上的时间要3-4个小时，而且在家在单位都会很累，如此一来
生活质量会受到影响。在milpitas则避开了那一段。
milpitas的犯罪率是比warm spring高些，但是也就是高一点儿，不是太离谱。我觉得
没有必要极端的追求犯罪率。但是他强烈反对。

The interesting part is, all the numbers, like violent & (incident) property
, Fremont ones are higher (I suppose higher is worse). But the crime index (
higher is better as indicated) of Fremont is better.
If you check out say Cupertino, its numbers make more sense (as expected).

everyday by building new neighborhoods. Other cities you mentioned here are
too small to compare with Fremont. Crime index is normalized based on
population size. Now it makes sense?

Not to mention Warm Springs district belongs to Fremont's better area. It'd
be more reasonable to compare Warm Springs against the entire Milpitas.
Commuting wise, Warm Springs is really no much worse than Milpitas. The
difference could be as less as couple minutes of local driving.

s a nightmare from Warm Springs, it will most likely be an equally bad
nightmare from Milpitas, unless several minutes of extra local driving can
turn your good dream into a nightmare.

发帖数: 57 | 21 94539，95035，95132三个地方我都住过, Santa Clara County完胜Alameda County。
看你具体指的是那几个小区，Milpitas的环境和95132差不多，交通的话Milpitas离880
，680，237都近，感觉更方便更urban但是San Jose可能说起来更好听。在这些地方买
个新点的房子，以后租出去都不成问题。
学区就不要考虑了，如今的年轻人反正无论如何都要送私校。 |

warm spring就好很多。
