发帖数: 3420 | 4 If you get approved for medicare 6 months later, then they can go backward
and cover you bill within 6 months. However it is risky since you can't
ganrantee you will get approval, esp for those coming here with 6 months
visa.
If no insurance at all, most hospital will not accept you, even you promise
to pay. The only place that accept people without insurance is Emergency (
ER). Hospital can't reject ER patients. However, I know in a lot of
hospitals, they make it difficult to admit through ER. Unless you have a
real urgent situation that need to be treated right away, the ER can refuse
to treat you too. My dad wanted to have a MRI test, he couldn't get it even
in ER.
