Algorithm).
Location: Fremont CA
Company size: about 30 ppl (small company)

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and test complex algorithms for robotic
surgical assistant and pre-planning station.
• Work with software group to integrate algorithms into final
release of software.
• Follow rigorous design control methodology and writes concise
requirements specifications, architecture specifications, and design
description, verification plans, and test cases.
• Performs unit testing of software and assists in the verification
and validation process of the complete designs.
• Manages schedules, meets, and adhere to development goals.
• Provides planning and status information to project manager.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience developing complex algorithms as well as
experience developing software products with C/C++, preferably in the
medical device industry.
• Strong background in complex algorithms including computer vision
, machine learning and classification.
• Experience with VTK or other graphics and image processing
software.
• Experience with Matlab.
• Experience with QT application framework or similar GUI framework
preferred, but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of object-oriented programming and
system design.
• Excellent communications and documentation skills.
• Medical instrument development (FDA design controls) and industry
experience preferred, but not required.
• Masters Degree in computer science or other relevant field.
• Strong academic records. |
