Lower selling price maybe better.
Just tell them you got a deal from a friend if anyone asks.

大家说的都对，但不完整。完整的答案就是，法律要求是收税的。这个不叫sale tax，
叫use tax，但税率一样。不过 private party通常都会报很低的成交价格。还没听说
过谁被抓到过
