上报价都在1000刀左右，不知道是不是从旅行社订，会不会便宜点儿？就怕到时候虽然
价格便宜，但机票时间或者改期都不方便，反而给自己添堵。
因为是第一次帮老人家订票，没啥经验，特地向版上的达人们请教下。

which is highly preferred for Chinese seniors who can't speak English. You
sure can call agents up for quotes but my experience is it becomes rarer for
them to beat united.com.
Keep in mind mid-dec to late-jan is holiday travel season so ticket price is
likely to remain high and tickets are likely to run out fast. If the $1000+
ticket price you found is for united, it's actually not a bad price at all.
I can't say for sure the price won't drop but you'll be taking some risks
for not booking it now.
I actually just booked tickets at significantly higher price than what it
was two weeks ago. Wish I hadn't waited.

但可以考虑从北京转机，会便宜一些，不会讲英文也没关系。
日本也还凑合，反正鬼子英文也不咋地，不过认中文字还凑合。
