didn't mention about larger fibers....wondering if this can absorb asbestos
fibers...anybody knows? I know hepa vacuum does the job, not sure about the
air purifier.

There are only a few models can do it.
air purifier generally can not do it as well. Those vacuums can do asbestos
cleaning job geneally can be converted to the asbestos air purifiers.
Do not try to get rid of asbestos by yourself.

发帖数: 237 | 3 yeah. We have already asked a professional inspector, he didn't find
anything that could contain asbestos except for wall/ceiling and things
inside the wall.
But the problem is the house has went through kitchen/bathroom remodeling(
new floors) and other remodeling work, we are not sure if the work is done
per to protocol(things are removed properly if there are any). We did order
a air test but it only test one spot, the result comes back clean but not
sure how accurate it is.
So I am thinking maybe an indoor air purifier would help. Do you think I am
being too paranoid? - like for what we have done I could have my mind
rested?

point.
For my case, I ordered a total asbestos cleanup before move in, it costed
something like $2500. But so far I heard only I did this.
One thing worths to do is to ask inspector to get samples from wall/ceiling
and lab test it. At least you will know whether it is safe to disturb these
places like putting a nail in to hang pictures or opening recessed lights in
the future.

Do you mind if I ask why you are doing the total cleanup? is that just precaution or you know there is something and you'd like to get rid of?
What items do the total cleanup include? Does it clean indoor airs?
