settled. didn't know not available to withdraw even after that. wonder how i
can get this waived. seems i need to wait for their penalty letter to try
it. has anyone done this before? i had always paid underpayment penalty and
such without arguing before. first time for bounced check.

was bounced as of today:(
if anyone has dealt with this successfully before, please pm me. wonder if i
should write another check to irs or not. |

send in another check and wait for a letter from irs if the first check was
no good. mailing another one today...

See if they can negotiate on your behalf to waive the penalty. |

day before my funds got settled, and it got bounced. However, the IRS
website says the ACH clearing house sometimes will try to cash the check
again, so it did try cashing the check again one day after the bouncing
happened, and this time the check went through. I didn't call IRS and
neither did them send me any penalty letter, though I did get a penalty from
my bank for bounced check.

already sent out the second check. don't mind if they cash both checks at
