The median price of single-family houses sold in Palo Alto, home of Facebook
Inc., climbed 20 percent in May from a year earlier to $1.63 million, the
biggest jump since 2008, according to preliminary figures from research
company DataQuick. In Mountain View, the base of LinkedIn Corp., prices rose
3.1 percent to $957,500, the ninth year-over-year gain in 12 months.
“It’s just the beginning of the story and I suspect we’ll see an
explosion in the next couple years,” Rosen, chairman of the school’s
Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, said in a telephone
interview. “You’ve got young people with real money, and it’s not
surprising they want to have a house.”

的，地理位置却变不了。mv／sv最大的优点是交通方便，学区和环境也还可以。弯曲现
在牛公司的趋势是在city，半岛，palo alto；这些mv／sv都能方便去（开车／
caltrain）。

为什么？collectively，人民群众的需求是什么？人民希望过上更好的日子，那
collectively人民就会让它发生; 也许有曲折，但这是趋势。和人民群众做对是没有好
果子的，打个比方，历史上几乎所有short seller都没有好下场。

大面的东西最有效，对局部市场影响就小一些，对个人需求影响就更小了(谁不想住豪
宅？)。所以不要总觉得股票市场是个泡。
房子需要能负担的起。但现在弯曲的房子并没有比2000年更难afford（因为低利率和收
入增长）。

变好这个major trend并不矛盾。
在弯曲这个地方，我个人也想住palo alto或者los altos，但我不会因为买不起那
2million的房子而抱怨房价高或者希望其跌下，只是因为收入还没跟上。这个地方，高
收入的人多的是，别人又没有屯房空置，有什么好抱怨的。你不买别人买。
不指望自己变好，而只是希望从别人的失败中获利，这已经不仅仅是负面心态了。言已
至此，没什么好多说的。
