几年前,MS给使用BING购物的用户cash,尽管很crazy,但是结果还是不错。bing的

现在mobile计算如此红火,我们看看MS在做啥。
1. 好不容易把NOK骗上了船,可是要收NOK license fee!!! 又怕NOK不干,就先pay

我们看看Google/apple,都在拼命夸大自己的customer base,ecosystem,增加
service。例如这个mobile payment,如果加上location, advertisement, search,
如果再加上对客户购物习惯的data mining, profiling, 简直就是无敌。
有一天,当你走进best buy, 你的手机会detect到你走进了best buy,知道你是nerd,

2000快的电脑,买鞋不超过30,知道你有个小孩,因为买过5岁男孩的衣服;还知道你

nod nod,最郁闷的是我这样的铁杆.net fan,看人折腾iphone app的大把捞钱,流口
水啊,windows phone的app hub也要收99刀年费,可我都怀疑做windows phone开发的
要多久能收回这个成本,实在很打击大家都积极性。

I believe license fee is the way to go. Free operating system doesn't go
very far. There is no living proof that it can be easily monetized. Yes it
can make Bing as the default search engine and collect advertisement revenue from that etc, but most likely the consumer would still have other choices and they don't necessarily use the default. MS and Google are not the same with Apple because Apple has the whole product and it can organize the cost structure internally.
As for your example, I believe even for now, a site like Amazon has all that
kind of data in hand already and more, better because Amazon itself owns the right products to recommend and sell and earn money for itself, not relying on some third party retailer like Best Buy. But has amazon grown past MS? Nope. Your example doesn't even provide any advantage to Amazon and companies would have to divide the money earned in your case.
As an engineer, I believe google is now the right place to go to because it
has overall the better pay, but company future wise, it is really difficult to say at this point.

你再仔细读读我的post,没有那么难理解的。

要在app hub上卖就要交年费的,这个apple 的app store也是要收的。
不过人apple的market多大,windows phone要免收第一年年费还差不多
