写程序的，可能吗？他说没钱投资移民，哪位知道硅谷什么的有这种直接招人过来做的

发帖数: 145 | 5 有可能。但是要让公司觉得你朋友人在美国会容易一些。
方法是让你的朋友用一个美国地址，申请一个skype的号码，然后把它转到国内的电话
上用电话面试用。
如果有onsite的面试，自己签B1，买机票过来面试。
我知道有人这样做，而且做成了。

如果你朋友牛的厉害，发了简历后一堆一堆的面试，飞过来一次面试好几个公司，快得
话一个月就搞定了。
你朋友一般般，连面试都没有的话，就好好在国内工作吧。

he's now a first line manager at an American software company in Shanghai;
technology is not his focus though he used to be a programmer. he said
it's definitely doable as 3 of his ex-colleagues at Intel Shanghai came to
US directly on H-1b; he won't believe me that it's very hard to do now
given the jobless rate in US...

发帖数: 145 | 10 1.如果已经在美国公司了，为什么不找公司内部transfer，这不容易多了吗？
2.intel需要expert license，好多没有绿卡有H1的人都被卡，更别说你朋友什么都没
有。如果从intel跳到别的公司也是他的3个上海同事特别好的运气，这个就求上天保佑
吧。
3.我最后罗嗦一句了，最可行是公司内部transfer，如果还是不行的话就安心在上海工
作。

to come to US to work directly. sigh, people in China are so FU ZAO ah...

拿H1到美国工作根本不是问题，太多人已经这样从中国到美国工作了。

tech corporations or startups. my friend is looking for a startup as he
doesn't think big corporations will hire/transfer a first line manager,
which i agree...

er. 也许从管人管事到管事而已，只是猜的。
找startup工程师工作比较靠谱，过来想直接做startup manager的比较牛x,也不是不可
能，人要牛做CEO都行。
