mark the mail as "deleted", and 2) you need to "Purge" the deleted mails
Often times your email client will automatically purge deleted mails when
you close it, but sometimes if something goes wrong it doesn't. Plus,
usually it won't show you the mails marked as deleted, so you cannot see
them.
You need to first change the settings in your email client so that it shows
you mails marked as deleted (or use another email client that does). And
then also change the settings so that it purges them immediately when you
delete something. Then refresh and see if you can see the deleted mails now,
and delete them. |
