from SFO, you can :
rent a car, and drive south through 101
take air-train --> bart --> caltrain --> sunnyvale
several place to live along El camino real
it's a safe place..been there for more than 4 years.. ;)

If you drive a car, it is easy to go anywhere and do anything,
legally and reasonablly. In case u need Chinese gifts,
there are 茅台、五粮液、西洋参 等等 in every chinese grocery stores.
For those conventional gifts, there are the Great Mall in Milpitas, just
like premium outlet. There are also Westfield Valley fair mall and standford
shopping center around for luxurious gifts.
Regarding with good and comfortable hotel, it is recommended to use
priceline.com or hotwire.com
