用这眼睛。两年后的今天再去做exam才发现，眼睛又坏了很多，从300多变成400多。我
就开始急了。再这样下去眼睛就没了。
researched了一下才知道，原来即使戴了眼镜，那只眼睛还是弱。脑袋还是过滤了那只
，光用另外一只眼睛。所以就到了今天的结果。回家后就用工给他patch，可是过了一
个星期就殴不过他了。他8岁了，要他坚持做他不喜欢的事情真是太难了。所以现在考
虑找vision therapy。
有经历过类似经验的朋友吗？我的保险是kaiser + vsp。昨天查过了，vsp 不包vision
therapy or training。 现在是希望kaiser有这个服务。周四看kaiser。我怎么push
kaiser给我这个服务呢？ 有什么技巧？ 事实就是，眼睛生病了，如果不治疗，就会盲
掉，不是么？家里也实在无法长期有效的治疗它。那么kaiser就有这个医疗责任，对吗？
请大家给点建议。谢谢 |

睛，当时他也上小学了，有时候自己偷偷拉掉黑布，但是最起码在家他不敢，后来就好了

他用另外一只眼睛的习惯

forget the exact word).
It is hard for me to explain it here, due to the terminologies.
But, the good news is there are some exercise could be done to get the lazy
muscle exercised. Some improvement, or even full recovery, could be achieved
depends on age, current condition, etc.
The worse case, surgery.
If you go back to China, they will ask you to do the surgery only. |

不是。我儿子是两只眼睛视力相差太大。这样一来脑袋就习惯性用视力好的一只而放弃
视力不好的一只因而不
能正常发育。不矫正的话以后这眼睛就不动了。我不知道斗鸡眼是不是这样形成的。

This is covered by your medical insurance, not covered by VSP,
It's been two years since you discovered it.
Did you ever go to your Kaiser doctor for this?
Just tell your Doctor your son has a lazy eye. S/He should know it and
refer you to the specialist. |

Just ask them what to do in this case. Kaiser may use a different term
other than "Vision therapy"

Dr. Colin Kageyama in Campbell is very good. My son had 40 sesssions
which cost about $5000 ( not covered by insurance). His eyesight
improved to 20/20 or better with glasses on ( before he could
only see 20/40 even with glasses )
Dr.Colin Kageyama, O.D, FCOVD Board certified in Vision Therapy.
344 East Hamilton Ave., Campbell (408) 376 2700.
If you can afford it, you should do it even if the result is not
guaranteed thus you won't regre |

Does 40 sessions mean 1 hour per week for 40 weeks? Or how long did it run?
