About XreLab (xrelab.com)
What is Artificial Intelligence? How can you or your business take
advantages of it? What are the most recent technological advancements or
scientific findings? How do these outcomes apply to the problems of your
projects? The Executable Research lab (XreLab), founded by a team of AI
researchers and professors from UCLA, MIT, Harvard University, Columbia
University, etc., will help you answer these questions.
The XreLab aims to help you to become an expert in Artificial Intelligence
techniques. Our learning program features an engaging mix of in-person class
meetings and after-class coding assignments, both of which are designed to
reproduce state-of-the-art AI systems that are executable and applicable in
your business or works. Your learning journey will bring the reality of
modern AI technologies today and how they can be harnessed to support
industry needs. The program will also concentrate on critical thinking of
open AI challenges and how the solutions to these challenges can change our
daily life.
Abstract of the Lecture
Computer Vision is one of the core Artificial Intelligence (AI) areas and
has attracted many interests in the past decades because of its wide
potentials in industrial applications, including autonomous vehicles, video
surveillance, medical diagnosis, security access, and intelligence drones.
In the lecture, we will invite world-know scientists to introduce the
history of Computer Vision, summarize the most recent advancements, present
research projects that were recently done by their research teams, and
discuss in particular the industry implications of these research outcomes.
The topics to be covered include, but not being limited to, (i) what’s
computer vision; (ii) why need computer vision; (iii) how 3D scene
reconstruction works; (iv) what’s region labeling; (v) how object tracking
works; and (vi) how camera localization works. | b******u 发帖数: 361 | |
