It deals with whether to put the words "Chinese" front and center on the T-
shirts. SF orders have a vaguer version of "Asian" instead of Chinese.
But it seems we are more or less coming to concensus that "Chinese" needs to
be front and center. Also the kind of use we are going to put the t-
shirts, is to give them to Jimmy Kimmel to wear for 60 days on TV, to
demonstrate his sincerity in his apology without admitting anything specific
. It would be very important to have a cute "Chinese" t-shirt not an "
Asian" shirt.
We could also give them to Disney/ABC company for everybody to wear. To
give them a chance to make us happy, even marching with us (against
themselves :-), and feel the feeling of being Chinese.
We could also give them to the city officials elected officials who helped
us.
LA needs to hurry up and order these shirts. It's going to be useful. |
