感觉洗头发洗脸比以前干净。热水壶里面也不结那个白色的壳了。当时比较了一下他们
和life source, 选择他们是因为他们每年给免费查一查水的质量，前10年免费修和换
filter，10年后换filter 300刀再管10年。装完觉得这钱花得很值。 |

结果google一下，说是water softener 可能增加肾结石的机会，看样要考虑考虑了。

发帖数: 528 | 9 We have a rental from All-Star (inherited from the previous owner). Rental
fee is fair and we had a discount. Includes water softener, reverse osmosis
/filter water (instant hot water too) connected from sink to fridge as well.
Very satisfied with it. Never used a different water softener solution but
I imagine they will all get the job done well. Certainly a nice quality of
life improvement. |

Water Softener rental list price $49/month (purchase price $2295)
Installation, maintenance of equipment, etc. is all covered by rental
agreement. We only have to refill the salt (I think it's salt) every 3
months.
