蛮好奇的，为啥SD版从来没有看见有人讨论KUMON啊
在三藩看到过讨论，这里没有人提啊

Subjects might vary from English to Math, from Chemistry to Physics.
First, you will be tested for your "level" in a subject of your choice.
Then you will be given appropriate exercises according to your levels. Once
you pass the level, you will move on.
Some mentoring is involved, but not much. About 2 "teachers" per session of
maybe 15 kids. You can test-drive their service first for a few classes
before committing to a long term contract.
American kids go to Kumon, too.
In a sense, it is very similar to Question Ocean strategy, although they
claim their Questions are tailor made. | t******u

发帖数: 306 | 4 巧了，就是今天去了一趟，本来向让我家娃考个试，可是没预约，下个星期要在去一趟。
我去的是La Jolla的，因为只有这有周六的，UC的离家近但是只有周二和周五下午开。
学费是$120 per subject, only saw two subjects----Math and Reading.
想去试试， 非常高兴及时看到这个帖子，下次可以问问 test-drive their service的
事。

有阅读，数学等等，很多印度和中国孩子。
说起KUMON,赞一个他家workbook，适合2+,3+岁小朋友。
有四个系列，剪纸、折纸、涂色、粘纸。
COSTCO一套四本，才7.99或9.99，记不清了，去年今年都看到过。
很锻炼握笔，还有手指灵活性。
每页可以撕下来，纸张印刷质量都很好，图案也很活泼，孩子很喜欢。
做完一本（40页左右），最后还有张奖状，发给孩子，可得意了。
