Our Client is the leading scientific enterprise research and development
software and services company that supports the life sciences, chemical and
materials industries. Our customer base includes the world’s largest
pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical and petroleum companies. These
positions will be located in San Diego, CA.
We are hiring skilled and energetic software engineers to work within our
Platform R&D group. These roles will focus on the design, development and
maintenance of the company's product platform architecture. Specifically
these Engineering roles will work within the Platform R&D team and with
product management to develop high-quality software for a successful
platform product within established product release cycles. The software is
a broad integration platform, so we are interested in candidates who can
demonstrate technology agility and leadership. This opportunity offers
tremendous learning and growth potential for the right candidates, whatever
their current level of experience.
We are particularly interested in proven C++ skills, but we are also keen to
find engineers with a good mix of experience related to Java, web
application development, databases, network security, distributed computing
or SDK development. Both Windows- and Linux-specific skills are also of
interest. Additional required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in
computer science, engineering or a scientific discipline. You must
demonstrate practical software development experience, ideally in an agile
team environment. We look for candidates with good written and verbal
communication skills.
