位于Arriba St.（VONS 对面）的小区里面3B2B的townhouse，其中一间房间出租，与另一房
间的来自中国的UCSD博士男生共同使用一个洗手间， 房间里面有床和电脑桌及柜子等家具，
房东甚至提供床上用品， 单人入住的价格是778/月，夫妇入住的价格是857/月，该费用包括
水电费及网费等公用费用，除了做饭的米油盐之类不包括之外，纸巾和洗衣剂的费用都包括
在内，押金200刀，最早的入住时间在11月13日。
房间都在二楼，一楼是厨房和客厅，房东是位非常nice的老头，呵呵，当时我老婆从国内
飞到洛杉矶，自己没有车，是他开车带我去接的，只要了30块钱的油费，回来还说油没有
用完要退钱给我。人真的非常好，房间比较适合单身的没有什么家具的朋友住，基本上提
着衣服行李箱就可以入住了。

I'm looking for a quiet professional or UCSD postdoc, grad student, or
mature undergrad (nonsmoker, no drugs, no pets) for a room in my bright
clean 3br 2ba La Jolla Colony townhouse. The room is fully furnished
(double-size bed) and measures 3.4 m x 3.5 m plus an alcove for the door,
with a large wide window and a closet 1.8 m x 0.6 m. You share a bath with a
UCSD PhD student from China.
Your rent is all-inclusive: gas-electric-water; Internet (wireless &
ethernet); digital cable TV with DVR and DVD; sheets, comforters, towels;
dish and laundry detergent, paper products, and cleaning supplies. Your food
will be your only extra expense. Enjoy the entire house--TV/DVD,
well-equipped kitchen, patio with gas grill, and a good washer and dryer in
the attached 2-car garage (which also contains gym equipment you're free to
use). Park your car in my garage.
Located in the beautiful Las Palmas complex at Palmilla Dr. and Arriba St.,
you will be only a short distance to UCSD and two minutes to the 5 and 52
freeways (and about 1.6 km to the ocean). Directly across from my building
is a heated pool and Jacuzzi. Across the street in the other direction are
bus stops for the UCSD shuttle and a city bus, and also a small shopping
mall with market, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Only three blocks away is
a large shopping mall, with over 150 upscale stores and a bus hub serving
UCSD and all of San Diego. We're a ten-minute bike ride to UCSD. This is a
terrific location for students who don't have a car.
Formerly a grad student at UCSD I now write technical documentation for
computer software from my home office. I'm amicably divorced, with two
daughters recently graduated from college. I run daily and otherwise pretty
much hang out in my master BR/office.
We keep it relaxed. Your friends are welcome to come over for study group,
to watch a movie, share dinner, or just to hang out for a while. Sleepovers
are fine if within reason. In nine years of renting my two spare rooms I've
never felt the need for a lease. You just pay month-to-month (prorated at
move-in), and give me 30 day's notice before moving out. That has worked
smoothly for all of us.
The room is $778/mo, with a $200 refundable deposit
payable at move-in. If you're a couple, the rent is $857/mo. The room will
be available November 13, 2010.
