I like to transfer to statistics department because I am not interested in my
major now, and I tried to stick to my current my major and worked hard for
about one year, but it is no use and I am still not interested in it. After
one year's hardship in my current department, I have made up my minds that I
should transfer to statistic department, I do not know anyone who study statistics,
so are there alumni who major in statistics and like to give me some

发帖数: 580 | 4 Nowdays a lot of people switch to statistics, I am not sure if it's good or
bad, the job market for statistics still OK now, but make sure if this is
really what you want(I know what I am just said is bullsh*t, Nobody 100% sure
whatthey want, job? money? or whatever, :-)).
Anyway, if you decide that you want to switch, there are 3 major directions
you can go:
1. Government. they need a lot of suvey guys, but it's really hard for
non-citizen to sqeeze in, you can try though.
2. Finance. a lot of
