松，估计也是下周要去Leadville。还碰到两个hiker，下周去跑pikes peak marathon
。其中一个已经跑过26次pikes peak。

发帖数: 1283 | 3 Don't worry, Hope Pass is only 12,600ft, not 14+k. And the trails should be
well maintained, unlike those in my hiking pictures.:)
Also, the tree line here is around 11,600ft.

i plan to just use my xc flat. |

发帖数: 1283 | 5 absolutely. LT100 should not be technical at all. should be comfortable
trail. (If the terrain were like what I hiked today, there would be no way
to finish it under 30 hours.)

pikes peak, of the marathon fame, is actually the easiest 14er.)

每个人连续3个7：00pace的半马，应该都能搞定。

Actually Gray's Peak and Mt Sherman are easier, if you do not count driving
to the tops of Pikes Peak or Mount Evans. And the highest CO 14er, Mt
Elbert, is among the easiest too.

发帖数: 1283 | 19 其实这两个14er离的很近。我把包放在Castle Peak，空手去了一趟Conundrum。爬得还
是有点挑战，中间爬了一个shortcut，可能有class 4，还犹豫了一下。当时把手套摘
了，手指抓岩缝里，心想以前gym里练的都要用上了，tmd没绳子啊！It's the kind of
stuff I wouldn't want my family see me doing. 下山的时候从snow field滑下，
把pocket knife拿出来当ice axe用，用力地插进雪里。有点险，雪再陡就控制不住了。
有个父亲带11岁的女儿上了castle peak，很牛。我估计都不会在我女儿那么小的时候
带她上这个。
