splits: 8.02, 7.53, 7.52, 7.56, 7.56, 7.53, 7.50, 7.47, 7.57, 7.55,7.47,
7.41, 7.22; last 0.23 mile, 6.38 pace.
This is a 11 minutes PR compare to my last HM race about a year ago.
Before race:
Hesitated to make any commitment due to some injury on my left foot;
It happens to be an easier week (9th week) on AM plan I followed;
Best pre race carb loading with fellow bay area runner;
During race:
Weather is perfect and course is flat;
Managed to run most of the course under 8 min pace except first mile,
that's my tempo pace!
succeeded in running the first 10 mile as extended tempo, but failed to
run the last part as 5K race;
Felt strong from start to end, thanks to 9 weeks by following AM 18/55
plan;
Saucony Kinvara rocks for HM race;
After race:
No much soreness on muscle;
Felt more comfortable with the under 4 hour goal for CIM;
ready to continue the second half of AM 18 week plan!
Regrets:
started to push too late;
missed the post lunch at little fat lamb;
Summary:
A wonder race running with a bunch of wonderful runners and makes it an
unforgettable memory;
Next race:
Mentally be more Baiji and more Wang huanxi, push at the right time!

I think I am the one who benefit most from the weekend group long runs. :-)
to 瓦哥: I really do not have any clue to set the full marathon pace. last
year, I thought I could finish it with 9 min pace, but it turns out way off
the target. hopefully, I can finish all the designated long runs in AM's
