over time and become increasingly worse, it means that there is something
wrong with the way you run, and some adjustment has to be made.

barefoot or forefoot running. Normally, the injury that comes all of a
sudden also tends to go away quickly, as long as you don't push through the
pain recklessly. When I spent a week in Austin one time, I did a lot of
running on hilly concrete sidewalks and that gave me an inflamed tendon on
my foot for a couple days. It was quite painful initially but wasn't
anything serious and I recovered quickly.
