旬，我回来以后。担心跑三月的oakland marathon准备时间不够。也可能我担心太多？

有大段路是没有荫凉的。很难跑好，很难跑舒服。

不去跑，如果去跑也是离开us之前去感受一下。

sounds difficult - yes I am whimpy...
Just asked around my friends to see if any other takers for the Oakland.
They raised a good point, which is that the ski season is not over when
these events are held.
Just found that SFM has opened registration:

Little dinosaur, you mentioned that it's easier getting injured in SFM.
Therefore it's not the best for a novice. Why is that?

would be it. It's definitely on my list of must-run marathons. I passed
on a chance to be in the bay area this summer. Hope to visit it again
soon.

considering SFM for it. I like the timing of SFM since I'll have a few
months to train before it. It's harder to do that in winter and spring due
to the damn vicinity of Tahoe... oh and my own laziness.
Eve mentioned hills, how hilly is SFM?

they have some overlap.
the hardest part is about 300-400ft straight elevation gain in less than one
mile, but followed by a straight downhill, very rewarding.:)

(well, it depends on your goal. if you want to keep the same pace, i might
say it's almost mission impossible. hehe, mine is keep my knees from injury
and run not walk.)

坡有一些...主要是爬上Golden Gate那段, 而且你跑过US Half..有经验的
前半程一堆人一起爬坡会轻松许多
后半程就很平了.就一两个缓上坡而已
如果三月不会觉的早...Napa Valley Marathon 也可以
全程缓下坡, 很好跑
风景也不错(如果不像今年下雨的话....)
