Green Day are currently working on the follow up to 2004's 'American Idiot'
and have admitted that they are at a chaotic stage in the writing and
recording process.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong explained: "We have a lot of music - something
like 45 songs... It's total chaos... I want to dig into who I am and what I
'm feeling at this moment - which is middle-aged.

updated the Buzzcock strand of melodic punk for the 90's audiance and beyond
, they also injected some new life into it with American Idiot, a brilliant
album by any count. I'm looking forward to the release, hope it won't
disappoint!
