以前学了些MAX/Msp编程, 那个其实不是编程,但是也挺神的.能干的事儿倍儿多,还有一个
女同学最后的汇报演出就是用MAX/Msp做的一个程序,然后她在那里现场演奏.不过这玩意
儿只有mac机能干,PC不知行不行. | g*******a

of course analog will never go away, and that's to everyone's concern
as a matter of fact, i think digital will take over the recording
engineer part soon or later, but never never will do much from a player's
perspective. the best sound of all instruments have been achieved, and
all dsp has been done is just to reproduce them. we are concerned because
we are cheap. if i had the money i'll throw my line 6 pod to trash can

better. why I am interested in digital is I believe one day analog can be
COMPLETELY simulated by digital(at least under resolution of human ear). so
digital will be more "analogy" than analog(only digital equipment can tell the
differece).

i thought we are talking about electronic guitars, hey everything is
electronics, even tube amps.
or you are talking about the electro music style, there is a music board
for it.
i think you got the idea wrong, digital is not a more advanced thing
for music in everyway. if a tube sound is pleasant to your ear, why
the hell you want it to be replaced by digital simulations. like if
my gas heater works, why do i want to change it

I didn't express clearly. I meant synthesized, digitalized. Electronic instead
of electric.
The electronic heaters with microprocessors in it allows you to control the
temperature precisely. also with the microprocessor it can simulate the
T(temperature) vs. t(time) and x,y,z (coordinates) of the gas heater so you
feel just like a gas heat.:-)

about folks like moby. let's say, mainstream hardrock band, and stay within
stage gears, put aside recording, PA, all the stuff technicians will take
care -- you'll find all their equipments are very classic. it's the hobbiests
who use much more digital processors because they cannot afford finer equips.
tell me a band that uses POD or Digitech, no one. every players have their
names out uses marshall tubes, vox tubes, me | g*******a
