Dear American Consulate in Chengdu, China
I am writing this letter for your consideration of my mother's B2 visa
application. I have got my Ph.D. degree from xxx University in 20xx, and
currently work as xxx at xxx (a top major xxx company) in Houston, TX. My
wife, xxx, is accompanying me now with an H-4 status and is taking very good
care of our 2 years old lovely son xxx. We have a very happy life, and I
really enjoy my job, and also my job keeps me busy. However, I miss my
mother so much that I would like to invite my mother to visit us for about
one month. We certainly would like to sponsor my mother's entire expenses,
including travel expense, living expense and medical cost.
The reason I want my mother to stay in United States for only one month is
because March is a good time in Houston. It is neither too hot, nor too cold
, which is very close the climate in Chongqing, and is perfect for my mother
. Meanwhile, there are some compelling evidences which ensure her return to
China on time:
1. My mother maintains strong social and cultural ties to China. My
mother always lives in xxx, China, where she spent all her life working and
raising a large and happy family with 2 children (I’m the younger one). All
our relatives and her friends are close to her, and she does not have much
experience living in unfamiliar places.
2. Family plays a very important role in my mother's life. Both my sister
and brother-in-law are very busy for their work, and my mother is expected
to take care of their 4-year-old daughter. Additionally, my mother's father
(100 years old) also needs someone to take care of in my hometown. Though we
have a big family and many relatives could take care of him, she is
obligated to come back and enjoy the happy life of a big family.
3. My father worked very hard for our family, and he lost his life during
his work time in xxx. My mother loves him so much. She visits my father's
grave every 2-3 month, and give him update of our lives. Spring Festival,
April 5th, May 17th (my father's birthday), July 15th (Chinese calendar) are
important dates for my mother, and she needs to in China on those days.
4. 7 months ago, I just bought a brand new apartment near a lake in my
hometown. She just finished decoration of this new apartment. It would be a
very comfortable place to live in. Besides, my mom does not understand
English at all. It’s not practical for her to live in a totally unfamiliar
country without her favorable TV programs and delicious Chinese food.
Furthermore, she might get bored very soon, as she can only talk to me. Due
to her strong Sichuan accent, she cannot communicate with my wife.
5. Last year I bought social benefit from Chinese government for my
mother. She has more than xxx RMB income per month, which is enough to cover
her daily cost in my hometown. Both my sister and I have decent jobs, there
is no need for her to earn and save money.
6. We have about $xxk in annual income and have over $xxk in banking
accounts. We have sufficient funds to cover her trip and there is no need
for her to seek for any employment opportunities in US.
In summary, her trip to the States will be a temporary family reunion. Your
help in facilitating her applications will be greatly appreciated. Please do

她和你姐全家的照片，和你姐小孩从baby到现在的照片。和亲戚，朋友人多热闹的照片。
你买房不用提。妈妈去看爸爸的墓也不用提。你住的地方气候合适老人短期。但不要说
成和家乡很像。
能想到的就这些。我妈成都被拒两回，后来我们全家回去了一次，她又去台湾旅游了一
次，拜访了几个远亲。然后2年后再去签。

没有回去，我第一段间接的说明，或许不好吧，谢谢你的建议

问到有没有回去过。

发帖数: 778 | 14 我妈被拒两次， 有原因之一就是当时要我和我父母的照片，不巧我假期回家时时间短
，也没有和父母照相，我们全家都不怎么喜欢照相。然后妈妈拿出我的出生证明，反而
被怀疑是假文件。有人作假母子关系从成都签出来过，他们很警惕。
所以为了证明我和我父母的关系是真实的，我们就只好全家回去过一次，并且在家照了
很多照片。

回国的理由里面，不要提是你给你妈买的房子保险什么的，都说成是妈妈买的或者妈妈
已经拥有的。
