Sub: Visitors visa extension for my mother
Dear Sir or Madam:
I am enclosing the application and the documents herewith for the extension
of stay for my mother who is currently in the U.S. on B-2 tourist visa.
According to her current I-94, her authorized stay expires on *******.
However, she would like to extend her stay in U.S. until ********.
As she is elderly, she has not been able to make extensive travel because it
would be very exhausting for her. Moreover, my work schedule doesn’t allow
me to take multiple longer vacations in a short duration. During her
current stay, she has seen few places on the east coast. During the
Christmas time, I will have long vacation to visit other cities in the east
coast with her. And also ******** is the traditional Chinese spring festival
. As she is getting older, she may not be able to visit us again. Therefore
, I hope she could stay with us in the special day.
During her extend stay, she will continue to stay at my house located on ***
***** and I will continue to provide all financial support to her during
that time.
Please find the following documents enclosed herewith:
• Copy of Form I-94
• Copy of passport (bio-data and visa pages).
• Copy of original returning airline ticket to china (flight date
will be changed if extension granted).
• Proof of financial support including Form I-134, bank statements,
employment letter, recent paystubs.
Please note that my mother has strong ties to China. She has absolutely no
intention of staying permanently in the USA. I assure you that she will
promptly return to her home in China before the end of her authorized
extension stay.
Therefore, I respectfully request you to approve her extension of stay and
provide us with an extended I-94.
