My name is XXXX. I am writing to you in support of my mother’s (XXXX)
application for B2 Visa. My husband and I are living in XXXX, Texas as U.S
permanent residents. I have been employed by an U.S. company as a XXXXX for
eight years. My husband is a xXXXXX at an U.S. energy company.
I’d like to invite my mother to the U.S. for a two-month visit. The main
purpose of this visit is for sightseeing (or vacation). My mother will
return to Beijing after the visit. I have visited my mother once a year for
the past several years for family reunion. (Please refer to corresponding
pages of my passport copies).
My mother has strong ties to China as follows:
• My mother receives generous pension that is ¥XXXX / year and
health insurance coverage from the government after she retired as a middle
school teach in 2004. She can only enjoy these if she continues living in
China.
• My mother owns a 3-bedroom and 2-bath condo in total of XXXXX sq
. meters in Beijing, which is worth about ¥XXXXX that is equal to US$
XXXXXX. (Please refer to the property title and listed price of the similar
condo in the same building)
• My grandma is 85 years old and needs home care in her daily life
. My mother has been going to my grandma’s home to take care of her
regularly (or daily) for eight years.
In 2002, when I received my Master’s degree, I invited my mother to attend
my graduation ceremony in the U.S. My mother’s visa application was
rejected due to lacking of supporting evidence – family photos. Since the
time of graduation ceremony was missed, she didn’t re-submit the
application.
My mother plans to visit Orlando, Miami, San Diego, Los Angeles, San
Francisco, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. If time allows, she also likes to
visit the northeast, such as Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City
and Boston. During her visit, she will stay with us at our house in Katy, TX
. We will make sure that she returns back to Beijing within the legal
permitted period of time.
Enclosed are my husband’s and my permanent resident card copies and
tentative travel plans.
Thank you for your kind consideration in this matter.
Sincerely,
XXXXXXXX
