中有两个给我发了拒信。在follow up其他老板之前来请教一下大家都是怎么成功取得
推荐信的。两个给我发拒信的老板都以跟我不熟悉, 只给熟悉的人推荐为由拒我，可我
在给他们的邮件里解释了independant推荐人对申请的重要性。我把其中一个的拒信贴
在这大家帮忙给看看问题有可能出在哪里。也希望有这方面经验的大牛指点一下索要推
荐信应该注意的问题。另外，大家都是等人家同意当推荐人了再把起草的推荐信发过去

I have lots of experience writing green card letters for my own
students and postdocs, and students/postdocs in our department with
whom I'm well acquainted. So, I'm aware of what you are requesting.
I am also familiar with your excellent work with XXX and XXX on the

That said, I am reluctant to provide recommendations to the INS for
any individuals with whom I've had little or no direct personal contact.
