糖尿病也一样，自己准备好药和验血糖的东西。
突发的情况只能去看医生。像这样看一次50，也还是小事，万一碰上需要化验需要做稍微
复杂一点的仪器检查的，那才是大头。有些检查小诊所做不了，送出去，就更难说了。我
一个同事，老人在这儿住了满久了，但还没资格申请medicare，因为她母亲一向身体不好
，她自费给她母亲做了一次普通体检，就是2000多将近3000。老人以前做过胆结石胆囊切
除，通不过保险要的体检。她父亲什么病也没有，很难得地通过了体检，因为过了65，每
月的保险费是500多，65以下的是300左右。就算是买了这个保险，看一次医生，copay
20。

发帖数: 35 | 4 I bought insurance from this agent. Their insurance is backed by AIG as
usual. Service is reasonable, but I wouldn't say it is perfect. At that time
we didn't go to their recommended doctor which is too far away, thus we need
to pre-pay ourselves and then submit a claim. Their claim process took more
than 6 months after I sent back the form and charges. I didn't contact them
nor did they. Finally they reimbursed me w/o asking any questions. One
benefit is that the bill will be significantl |
