There's another way round--apply for a tourist visa. There are two
kinds of tourist passport: 1-year and 5-year expiration period. The 5-year
passport is exactly the same as our *regular* private passport.
You can sign up a tour at a travel agency. Just call any travel agency
specializing in international tours and they can take care of the passport
application if you purchase a tour from them. The best deal I heard was
