Exciting opportunity for a long-term entrepreneur position working as a
Project Manager/Team Lead for a well established, Top 100 Independent
Software Vendor. We started a new R&D center in Beijing 3 years ago to
develop SaaS software. We have a suite of web-based apps and mobile apps
aimed at all platforms and customer of all levels and types of business.
Many more related products will follow.
The company has staff over 100 staff in 8 countries around the world. The
majority of staff works remotely. Over 5000 clients in over 80 countries,
and a network of over 150 resellers. The majority of our customers are in US
and Europe.
The candidate will stay in US for up to 12 months to establish authority in
the Beijing Team by working on product development and sales. Once on track
to lead the Beijing team, the candidate will be back to Beijing to
permanently lead the team.
Qualifications:
• 5+ Years technical experience in Java or .NET. (All our app
servers
are Java based)
• Must have worked on a development team in a commercial software
environment creating products, best have led teams.
• Knowledge of Business and Enterprise Software development and the
challenges facing developers in these environments.
• Awareness of the latest trends in Web-Based software, including
SaaS
and Cloud-Computing concepts.
• Prepared to design & write codes if needed, manage product vision
and feature set, and manage a growing team of developers.
• Willingness to work hard, pushing themselves and others towards
the
goal.
• Previous Product Management Experience a definite advantage.
