students told us interesting anecdotes about Feynman. He said Fenyman
was so brilliant that he could almost always out-think anybody who
wanted to discuss physics with him at Cal Tech. He kept coming up
with new ideas every few microseconds. He was actually not good at
polishing his own writings, but it didn't matter, since he always
had admirers that would do their best to polish his writings for him.

Rosenthal)
* Contains 21 short stories, each named after an element.
* Most stories are autobiographical: his life as an Italian Jew, an industrial
chemist, a survivor of Auschwitz, and an accompolished writer.
* A very memorable combination of scientific inquiry and humanist worldview.
I've yet to see anybody else (scientist or not) writing in a style so
interesting.
social.
