I love it.
Somehow it reminded me of pride and prejudice,
not the name of mark darcy and mr. darcy but storyline and romance.
Herione was repulsive to darcys at the beginning:
bridget by darcy's diamond-shape sweater and nerdy conversation,
while liz by darcy's arrogance.
Instead they had a crush on unworthy attrative guy--
cleave and wickham respectively, who in the past impaired darcy's family:
cleave had slept with mark darcy's wife while wickham had seduced
mr. darcy's sister.

personal taste i guess.

could read over and over again.
and when u go to the sequal not as much wits (or overdose) as the first

i understand what u mean nevertheless and to add another
line - it's more like some "yi4 shu1"'s nice works. by
letting the 'modern'/'independent' women get sth
to project themselves on.

and personally she is most admirable among my favorite writers.
like one of my labmates said, her writing was the most beautiful english he
had encountered.
i bought the novel in coop during the spring break.
it was among those bestsellers on sale.
you are right by comparing it with yi shu.
i got that feeling when finishing half of it,
still quite freshening to me coz it was first time to read that light pop
style in english.
