Frank: LGBT Bills Dead in 2011

Rep. Barney Frank says LGBT legislation will have no change of passing in
Congress in 2011, given that the House will be under Republican control.
“Next year there’s no chance of anything happening,” he told the
Washington Blade in an interview Tuesday. “There’s zero chance.”
Frank told the Blade he is confident the Senate will join President Obama in
blocking antigay legislation the Republicans might try to push through over
the next two years.
“It will be a status quo,” he said. “They don’t have the votes to hurt
us but we don’t have the votes to advance anything in the cause.” | m******8

发帖数: 2153 | 4 可能是一条道吧。要是那个法官判同志婚姻产生的连带的联邦福利有效，这跟DOMA有冲
突，但在美国不是判例也是法律吗？不过不是有法官判DOMA违反宪法了吗？对政治体制还是不太懂。哪个精通的来讲讲，不是同志版那个找到ABC男朋友的是念法学的吗， 不知道懂不懂。 |
