Summary
The Predictive Analytics Developer is an expert in the statistical methods
required to implement classification, regression, forecasting, and anomaly
detection analytics. He/she is passionate about exploring and discovering
business rules through data analysis. With a background in Operations
Research or related field, he/she uses a variety of advanced analytical
techniques to help the company make better decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Predictive Analytics Developer is a member of the Business Intelligence
team assisting:
• Development of predictive scoring models
• Development of analytics to optimize call center operations
• Validation of analytics and compliance with consumer lending laws
• Monitoring of deployed analytics and redefinition where
appropriate
• Development of KPIs at appropriate levels of the organization
Skills
• Strong experience with exploratory data analysis
• Solid analytical and data manipulation skills including advanced
knowledge of SQL
• Expert knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, machine
learning, and big data analysis
• Deep familiarity with analysis tools such as SAS, R, or
STATISTICA
• Advanced knowledge in Operations Research is a plus
• Working knowledge of data ETL techniques and OLAP architecture
Experience & Education
• Bachelor’ Degree or higher in Operations Research, Statistics,
Economics, Finance, Computer Science or other quantitative field, advanced
degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in debt collection or a related consumer
finance industry
• 3+ years hands-on experience building credit or recovery scoring
models using multivariate linear, non-linear, and logistic regression
techniques |
