Main Function
The analyst's primary responsibility is to prepare, and to ensure the
completeness
and accuracy of the books and records, reporting externally and to Senior
Management, whilst advancing the firm's aspirations in a controlled manner.
Independent price verification, model calibration and the calculation of
model
reserves
Reporting results and conclusions to senior management with recommended
actions
Liaising with Quantitative Analytics, Market Risk and Model Validation as
part of
the trade approval process
Analysis of valuation models as part of the price verification process
Analysis of reserve methodologies and oversight of product observability
review
processes
Main Duties
The role we are recruiting for resides in Equity IVC. The main
responsibilities of
the role are:
Independent price verification for the Equity businesses
Demonstrate experience understanding of complex data models and analytic
capabilities
Communication of Price Testing results to the business, senior Finance
management,
external and internal reviewers (auditors, regulators), via the production
and
reporting of the monthly Price Testing packs and attend relevant meetings
Work with peers in other IVC teams to help establish best practice
guidelines and
ensure these guidelines are well-communicated and adhered to within the
Equity
