My firm is focusing on natural gas and power, sometimes trade agricultural
products and crude oil..
Anyone is working in this area??

In thse markets,one big factor is leverage.You can be highly leveraged as
the margin requirement is very low for most markets.
Sometimes markets can be very volatile,e.g., Coffee during 03/2010-05/2010
or most recently wheat. Sometimes, the trend can be very big and consistent,
e.g, lumber during the past year.
Are your firm discretional or systematic?

Another advantage of commodity is the term structure of futures contract,
which makes trading calendar spread favorable. |
