for your problem, if the two breaking points are chosen
uniformly and independently, i got 9/4-3*ln(2) ~ 0.17,
which agrees with MC well.
i have not found an easy way to do it - my approach is to ignore
the triangle constraints first, and only consider the prob that
the max of the three segments > sqrt(sum of the other two squared).
