本身对finance很有兴趣，学过stochastic process,
financial engineering.本科国内还学过微观和
宏观经济学。不过没怎么系统的学过finance.
CS方面，小弟研究方向是machine learning和data
ming.去过一些小的research lab做过intern (you
can tell from my id :))。发过10多篇文章吧。
请教各位大牛前辈，CS的背景去华尔街应该申请
什么位置呢？我不想去投行做IT，赫赫。有哪些
课程需要补呢？
问题比较多，还望各位大牛一一解答。多谢多谢。

感觉华尔街比较有活力，适合年轻人。
大牛给些意见吧，我该补一些什么课程知识？

不过能不能混的好，就看你自己的了
ML在金融界就算有点用，一般来说用处也没那么大

hottest areas on Wall St right now)
MSR背景的 有很多人进了华尔街 我去年place了差不多3个都是MSR做过intern的(中国
和美国) 后来去了Morgan Stanley GS什么的, 当然还有GOogle和IBM Research的

more papers than me. Are they mostly NIPS, ICML, AAAI, or similar quality
data mining conferences? My background is also in machine learning, maybe I
've read some of your papers :-)
Like earlier posters have said already, machine learning and data mining
people are really well-suited for hedge funds, proprietary trading and
algorithmic trading groups in IBs. That's not to say you won't be able to
get a job as a deriva |
