I am looking for support... any Counseling students originally from mainland.
I work as a therapist(a multi task role, a little bit of everything...dealing
with the system, consel clients, case management...you name it). Now i am
tired of dealing with those crazy people and worse than that I feel
disconnected with my culture of origin. I need someone to share experience
rising above language barrier and getting those crazy clients trust me. I am
burning out and need people come to my back. T | b********k

I am not a Counseling student but I can feel your pain. From this post and
your other posts, I can see you have gone very far in understanding a foreign
culture and tried your best to melt in. Now you hit your first barrier. You
found your Chineseness is not only on your face but also in your blood. From
your post, I can feel your English might be flawless, but that's not enough.
Americans, not all of them but the majority of them, are biased. Sometimes I
think it is understandable.
